It’s a good day for slowing down, releasing expectations of my looming To Do list.
Slowing down doesn’t equal stagnation.
I’m used to putting a huge amount of pressure on myself to perform and DO all the time. Slowing down feels comparatively like I’ve come to a standstill. Actually, I’m really moving at a beautiful, perfect pace. I just can’t see it because I’m not used to the slowness.
Kinda like doing 110 km/hr on the highway and exiting direct to 50 km/hr on a city street. It seems like I’m barely moving, it takes a bit to adjust, and I tend to want to speed up to match where I’ve just been.
But if you were to ask the guy walking on the sidewalk on the slower road, he’d say I’m moving at a pretty good clip.
It’s a good day for slowing down, releasing expectations of my looming To Do list. Experiment with living life on life’s terms. Let go of expectations of myself and just go with the flow.
Relaxing into deeper peace.
